Reda AISSA

Reda Aissa is a photographer based in the Rhône-Alpes region of France. He photographs natural light, texture and the faces that make up his immediate surroundings, camera rarely out of reach.
He shoots on film and digital alike, moving between personal work, editorial commissions and commercial projects. Portraiture remains the core of his practice, extended by fashion work in which colour and the grain of film play a central part.
A background in multimedia and then marketing informs a second reading of the image, one of intent and narrative. Each series is built as a story rather than a sequence of photographs.
Based between Lyon and the wider region, he travels throughout France for his projects.
